Junior Product Owner
About the Role:
We’re looking for a motivated and organized Junior Product Owner to join our team. This is an entry-level role, perfect for someone eager to start a career in product development and agile delivery. You’ll play a key support role in helping shape our Back Office product and keeping development teams aligned, organized, and on track — while learning how great products are built.
Ideally, you have experience working with slots and bonus back office systems in a previous role — such as an operations analyst, support specialist, or service desk analyst. If you’re familiar with game configuration, player reporting, bet limits, or operator settings, you’ll hit the ground running.
⸻
What You’ll Do:
Team Support & Agile Ceremonies
Help run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives with the development team.
Keep track of action items and ensure tasks are documented and assigned appropriately.
Assist in breaking down larger project tickets into smaller, manageable tasks during team refinement sessions.
Project & Task Management
Help maintain the product backlog by organizing, updating, and prioritizing tickets with the team.
Track project progress and surface any blockers or issues to the PM or Senior PM.
Support the creation and maintenance of simple product roadmaps and timelines with the help of a PM.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Participate in project kickoffs and requirement-gathering meetings with internal stakeholders.
Take notes, follow up on action items, and help ensure everyone stays aligned on scope and expectations.
Learning & Growth
Learn about agile product development and project workflows from experienced product leaders.
Get hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and product roadmapping software.
Gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence and knowledge grow.
What We’re Looking For:
A driven, can-do attitude — you’re eager to take ownership, dive into problems, and help move things forward every day.
Relentless follow-up mindset — when something is blocked, you won’t let it drop. You’re not afraid to chase people, ask tough questions, and keep things unblocked.
Strong attention to detail and organization — you like things to be clear, documented, and on track.
Clear communicator — you’re comfortable talking to both tech and non-tech people, and know how to ask questions when something’s unclear.
Team-first mindset — you care about helping the team succeed, not just ticking off tasks.
Eagerness to learn — you don’t need to know everything yet, but you’re curious and hungry to learn fast.
Experience working with gaming back office tools (ideal but not required) — particularly those used for slot or bonus configuration, bet limits, player history, or operator management.
