The Role
We are looking for a Game Client Team Lead to lead one of our client-side development teams and ensure the reliable and timely delivery of our games.
This role is primarily focused on technical leadership, team management, and delivery coordination, while remaining hands-on enough to support architectural decisions and complex engineering challenges.
You will lead a team of 6–7 client developers with mixed seniority, mentor their growth, and maintain high engineering standards. You’ll also play a key role in guiding the team through our frontend evolution toward PIXI.js, ensuring delivery continuity and technical stability throughout the transition.
This is a 70% technical / 30% leadership role — ideal for someone who enjoys both coding and developing people.
What You’ll Do
Lead & Deliver
Lead and manage a client-side development team (6–7 engineers)
Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of game releases
Define and track team and individual goals aligned with business and technical objectives
Drive accountability, ownership, and cross-team collaboration
Technical Ownership
Provide deep technical expertise and resolve complex engineering challenges
Maintain and enforce high coding standards and engineering best practices
Support the ongoing transition from Java-based client engine to PIXI.js/TypeScript
Contribute hands-on to architecture decisions and critical implementations
Design and implement reusable engine features and scalable systems
People & Growth
Mentor and coach developers to support career progression
Conduct regular 1:1s and performance feedback sessions
Support hiring, onboarding, and mentoring of new team members
Continuously improve engineering processes and collaboration models
What You’ll Bring
3–5+ years of software development experience
Strong frontend development background
Experience mentoring or leading developers (junior-to-mid leadership level preferred)
Experience within the iGaming industry
Ability to remain hands-on technically
Strong English communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience with PIXI.js
Strong TypeScript knowledge
Exposure to Java
Experience improving engineering processes and delivery workflows
