We are currently rebuilding our core platform, including a complete revamp of our BI and data processing capabilities, creating an exciting opportunity to shape how modern analytics is designed and implemented.

The Role

We are hiring a Senior Data Engineer to help design and build our next-generation data platform.

You will play a key role in creating a scalable, high-performance data ecosystem that powers analytics, reporting, and business-critical functions such as invoicing and financial insights.

This is a hands-on role within a small, collaborative team, offering strong ownership and the opportunity to influence architecture, tooling, and best practices from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build a modern data platform to support analytics and reporting

• Develop and maintain data pipelines (batch and streaming)

• Implement real-time or near-real-time data processing solutions

• Collect and centralise data from game servers, integrations, and operator systems

• Support and evolve a data lake architecture

• Enable reporting, analytics, and financial calculations through robust data models

• Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across systems

• Build and maintain reporting solutions and dashboards (Power BI)

• Collaborate with platform, game server, and integration teams to standardise data flows

• Work closely with Finance to support billing accuracy and reporting needs

• Contribute to best practices in modern data architecture and analytics

• Mentor and support junior team members

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience in Data Engineering or Data Platform development

• Hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and processing systems

• Experience with streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka or similar)

• Strong knowledge of SQL and data modelling

• Experience with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or similar)

• Experience working with reporting and analytics tools (e.g. Power BI)

• Solid understanding of data lake and data warehousing concepts

• Ability to work across teams and understand end-to-end data flows

• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong ownership

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in iGaming, fintech, SaaS, or other platform-based businesses

• Exposure to financial or billing data use cases

• Experience working with large-scale, event-driven systems

• Experience working in regulated environments
