At Playnetic, we’re scaling rapidly and strengthening our core business operations to support this growth. Our finance function plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency as we expand into new markets and partnerships.
We are looking for an Accountant to join our growing team and support the financial backbone of the business.
What You’ll Do
Financial Accounting & Records Management: Maintain accurate and timely accounting records, support month-end and year-end close processes, and ensure compliance with internal financial policies. Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and supporting strong financial governance.
Tax Compliance & Reporting: Prepare, reconcile, and submit VAT and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory deadlines.
Accounts Receivable & Invoicing: Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoice issuance, payment tracking, and customer follow-ups.
Accounts Payable: Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, reconciliation and payment execution, ensuring proper authorization and adherence to internal controls.
Banking & Financial Operations Support: Assist with banking activities, reconciliations, budgeting and management reporting as well as other finance administrative tasks.
What You’ll Bring
1–4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Hands-on experience maintaining accounting records and managing financial operations
Experience with Xero
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience in accounting firms or audit environments
Exposure to multi-entity accounting structures
Experience in iGaming, gambling, or similar industries
Greek language skills
Experience working in fast-paced, scaling environments
