Job Summary

We are looking for a Middle Java Game Server Developer to build and support backend services for real-money casino games. You will work on core server-side logic, game round processing, integrations, and performance improvements to ensure stable, secure, and scalable gameplay. This role is a great fit for an engineer who writes clean Java code, works well in cross-functional teams, and takes ownership from development through release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain game server logic based on product and math/design requirements.

  • Build resilient, maintainable Java code for core backend services and APIs.

  • Ensure correctness of game rounds, bonus flows, and server-side state transitions.

  • Perform development verification, code reviews, and test coverage improvements.

  • Fix bugs, optimize performance, and support production stability.

  • Work according to Agile principles from planning to release (standups, grooming, retrospectives).

  • Collaborate closely with client, product, QA, and platform teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of backend development experience with Java.

  • Strong knowledge of Java Core, OOP, collections, and multithreading basics.

  • Experience building and supporting REST APIs.

  • Good understanding of SQL and transactional data handling.

  • Familiarity with Git/GitLab, Maven, and CI/CD workflows.

  • Strong English communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn, curiosity, and ability to work with feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in iGaming/casino games, fintech, or other high-reliability domains.

  • Understanding of algorithms, design patterns, and SOLID principles.

  • Experience with high-load backend services and performance tuning.

  • Familiarity with observability/logging tools.

  • Basic knowledge of TypeScript is a plus.
